Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Amble Time (“the Service”, “the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Amble Time. We may update these Terms from time to time; your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Amble Time is a personal productivity application that helps users plan their day, track tasks, and schedule activities based on self-reported energy levels and, optionally, data from compatible wearable devices. The Service includes AI-assisted scheduling suggestions, capacity forecasting, and wellness- oriented features designed to support neuro-inclusive ways of working.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Amble Time. By using the Service you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Not Medical Advice

Amble Time is not a medical device as defined by the FDA, CE marking regulations, or any equivalent regulatory body. Features including but not limited to energy forecasting, capacity bars, battery check-ins, biometric integrations, and AI scheduling suggestions are informational tools only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease, disability, or medical condition.

Data received from wearable devices (e.g. sleep score, readiness index) is displayed for personal awareness and used to generate scheduling suggestions. These suggestions reflect pattern recognition and user preferences — they are not clinical assessments. You should not make medical decisions based on information displayed in Amble Time.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may allow you to connect third-party accounts and services, including:

• Oura Ring — sleep, readiness, and activity data accessed via the Oura API, subject to Oura's Privacy Policy.
• Google Calendar— event synchronisation, subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services. Your use of integrations is governed by both these Terms and the relevant third-party terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our express written permission.
• Transmit harmful, malicious, or objectionable content through the Service.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

8. AI-Generated Content

Some features of Amble Time use artificial intelligence (including OpenAI models) to generate task suggestions, scheduling recommendations, and coaching notes. AI-generated content is provided as a convenience and does not represent professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any AI-generated suggestion.

9. Intellectual Property

The Amble Time name, logo, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all tasks, notes, and personal data you create in the app. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amble Time and its founders, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 USD if you have not paid us anything).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amble Time and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from Settings. Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
