Plan around the energy you have — not the energy you wish you had.
A calm, energy-aware planner for people living with ADHD, chronic illness, or burnout. It paces your day to your real capacity, sees your low days coming, and stays gentlest exactly when you have the least to give.
Free to start · in the app in three taps · no streak to keep.
You're not bad at this. The tools were built for a different body.
If you've downloaded every planner, loved it for a week, then watched it turn into one more thing you're failing at — that isn't a discipline problem. Most productivity tools rest on a quiet assumption: that you've got unlimited energy and just need to try harder.
When your energy is limited, fluctuating, or hard to predict, those tools don't simply stop helping. They start keeping score against you — red badges, broken streaks, a growing pile that reads like proof. Amble Time starts from the opposite place.
What if the plan started with your energy?
Hours aren't the scarce thing. Energy is. Amble Time treats your capacity as the real budget, and builds a day you can actually live — on the energy you actually have.
A day built around your energy, not your to-do list
Most planners cram every hour as if you're always at full capacity, so you start the day already behind and end it with proof you fell short. Amble Time asks how much you've actually got — Chill, Balanced, or Driven — and shapes the day to fit.
You finish what you set out to do, with something left over. And when "getting through the day" stops being a daily defeat, the quiet shame that's been riding along with your task list lifts with it.
It shows you the crash before it arrives
When your energy is limited, the bill for a big day tends to land a day or two later — and no other tool accounts for it, so you pay for Tuesday on Thursday and get blindsided every time.
Amble Time reads what you've spent and shows the days ahead as small energy-forecast bars, dipping low before a likely crash so you can see it coming and rest on purpose. You get to spend a good day instead of bracing for the price of it.
On a hard day, one tap and the whole plan softens
Some mornings you wake with nothing in the tank, and an app cheerfully reporting that you're "fine" is worse than no app at all. Tell Amble Time you're low and it believes you — instantly reshaping the day around the truth instead of the math. No arguing with software to prove how you feel.
Your best hours, even if they're at 11pm
Productivity tools assume mornings are for hard work and evenings are for winding down. For a lot of brains it's the exact opposite — and putting your hardest task in your worst window is a setup for failure and self-blame.
Amble Time learns when you actually come alive and protects that window, whenever it falls. Your peak finally works for you, instead of against the clock.
Made for the days you have nothing left
On a crash, a flare, or a shutdown day, even looking at your task list can hurt — and that's exactly when other apps pile on red flags and broken streaks until you give up for good.
Tap "Off Today" and the whole list disappears, leaving three gentle anchors: water, meds, rest. And when you come back after a week away, there's no wall of overdue tasks waiting to scold you — just a quiet "nothing is on fire," and one small step to begin again.
A hard stretch stays a pause, not the end of using it.
Empty your head without sorting a thing
Holding everything you mustn't forget is its own kind of exhausting, and most apps make you file and format before you can even put it down. Amble Time lets you dump it all — typed, spoken aloud, or sent straight from your phone mid-thought — and quietly sorts it into real tasks for you.
Your head clears, nothing slips, and you can rest without the background hum of everything you're afraid to lose.
When a task is a locked door, it hands you the key
Some tasks just sit there, too big to start, and the longer you look the heavier they get. Ask Amble Time to break one down and it gives you a first step so small it's almost funny — the kind you can do without bracing yourself.
Motion turns out to be the thing that was missing, and once you're moving, the rest tends to follow.
Amble Time is for you if…
…you have ADHD, and every system works brilliantly right up until it doesn't.
…you live with ME/CFS, long COVID, fibromyalgia, POTS, or another condition where energy is a daily budget.
…you're autistic, and most software is too loud, too bright, too much.
…you burned out once, and you're learning to work in a way that won't break you again.
…some days your capacity just disappears — to depression, anxiety, pain, or a cycle — and you need a plan that bends instead of breaking.
Most people here are more than one of these. Amble Time was built for the overlap.
The only planner that's glad when you do less.
Amble Time has no toxic streaks that punish you the day life gets in the way — progress simply waits for you. Half-finished still counts. And when you choose "Chill," or leave your whole afternoon empty on purpose, it treats that as the achievement it is. Because protecting your energy is the hardest, most important thing you'll do all day.
Honest pricing, because this audience has been burned enough.

Why I built this
I found out I was autistic at thirty-six. By then I'd already spent years studying why rest matters so much — I have a master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and between that and a long practice of Tai Chi Ch'uan, the same lesson kept returning: how deeply the body depends on rest, and how casually we treat it as optional. Every year seems to teach it to me again, a little more spiritual each time — that being gentle with yourself isn't the opposite of getting things done. It's the part we keep skipping.
My life is full. Two small kids. An old house that's always one repair behind, with me as the repairman. All of the family's cooking. A full-time job in a time zone that isn't the one I live in. The last thing I needed was another planner telling me to do more. I needed a coach that would help me keep my own projects moving and take my need for rest as seriously as I do — one that could actually remember who I am and what's on my plate from one day to the next.
That coach didn't exist, so I built it. That's Amble Time.
— IanA few honest answers
- Do I need a diagnosis to use Amble Time?
- No. It's built for anyone managing limited or unpredictable energy — labelled or not.
- Is my data private?
- Your plans are tied to your account and never sold, and there are no ads anywhere in Amble Time.
- What if I'm not consistent?
- That's assumed, not penalised. There are no streaks to break, and coming back after a gap is something the app is specifically designed to make gentle.
- Is this just another app I'll abandon in a week?
- Maybe the most honest question here. Getting started takes three taps, not an afternoon of setup — and from there, Amble Time is built to be easy to return to rather than demanding to keep up with, quietly shifting with the seasons so it doesn't go stale. You don't have to be perfect with it for it to help.
- I've tried other gentle planners and energy trackers. How is this different?
- Most either track your energy or schedule your tasks. Amble Time does both, then adapts — it forecasts your low days, runs on your real rhythm, and is built for the days you have nothing left.
Start gently.
Free to begin. No pressure, no streak to keep — just a calmer way to plan the day you actually have.
